Lack Of Hustle is an acoustilectrical duo playing popular & obscure tunes spanning the 1960's to today including several styles & instruments... as we like to say, "If you don't like the first 3 songs, stick around & hopefully you'll enjoy the next 3!"
'Big Daddy' Dan Edwards
Lead guitar, lead vocals, harmonica, ukulele, slide guitar, cigar box guitar, mandolin, sonic spectrums & Big Daddy Talent {tm}. Formerly of Peas Gibson & The Pods, Generation Trip, The Doodletown Pipers, and Greg Knapp & The Bitch Slaps.
Learned guitar from blues legend Governor Davis which helped tap into unrealized musical talents, further influenced by BDD's nomadic roots. Enjoys playing with heavy picks, Elixir strings & a wide array of instruments. Creator of sounds with practically anything within vicinity of a guitar. Fluent in musicology, radiology & Hawaiian. Speaker of few words (except in song). Fan of Terence McKenna, 'natural foods', the Boston Red Sox & quiet meditation.
Top 3 musical influences: Beatles (especially George Harrison), Freddie King, & the Grateful Dead.
Brad 'B-Nice' Waterman
Rhythm guitar, bass guitar, background 'vocals', cajon, junktar, djembe, kazoo, rhythm clapping & mindless chatter. Formerly of Peas Gibson & The Pods, Daddy's Soul Donut, The Doodletown Pipers, and Greg Knapp & The Bitch Slaps.
Learned guitar chords E7, A7, & B7 from the amazing Chris Dodds & eventually learned a few more from there. Enjoys playing homemade instruments, along with Alvarez & greatly-discounted Taylor guitars with Elixir strings & various picks he makes at home. Listens to a wide span of "good music" from most genres. Fluent in English & general chit-chat. Owns too many CDs, t-shirts & nicknames. Fan of Jesus, 'hot food', the Boston Red Sox & wearing clothes.
